Federation of Authentic Tourism Destination Dahar

The FTADD (Fédération Tunisienne des Associations de Développement du Dahar) is deeply committed to enhancing the Dahar region’s tourism potential and sustainable development. As part of the Destination Dahar Project, funded by SECO and implemented by Swisscontact, the association actively participated in the concept and preparatory work for the "Geopark Dahar" project, which aims to highlight the region's unique geological and cultural heritage. FTADD’s efforts were also recognized globally when Destination Dahar was honored in the "Green Destination TOP 100" competition as the best destination in the world under the theme "Culture & Community 2021/2022". Additionally, the association is a proud member of the Tunisian Culinary Route Network, a project supported by GIZ, promoting Tunisia’s rich culinary heritage as a key element of its cultural tourism.
